Kung Fu Panda: Bok Choy To The World: On October 14, 2009, DreamWorks Animation filed to protect the trademark Kung Fu Panda: Bok Choy To The World in relation to animated movies, games, CDs, DVDs and an assortment of other goods and services.

Sonja Blade: On October 10, 2009, Warner Bros. Entertainment filed to protect the trademark Sonya Blade in relation to “motion picture films featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure and/or animation, and motion picture films for broadcast on television featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure and/or animation” in addition to a variety of other goods and services.

Droid: On October 9, 2009, Lucasfilm Ltd., the American production company founded by Star Wars creator George Lucas, filed to protect the trademark Droid in relation to “wireless communications devices, including, mobile phones, cell phones, hand held devices and personal digital assistants.”

FishVille: On October 6, 2009, American video game developer Zynga filed to protect the trademark FishVille in relation to “computer game software, video games, online games, and game related applications.”

Call Of Duty: On September 21, 2009, American video game developer and publisher Activision filed to protect the trademark Call Of Duty in relation to “pre-recorded movies featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure, music, theatrical performances and/or animation”.
