On December 19, 2007, Japanese media conglomerate Sony Electronics filed to protect the trademark Zappin in relation to “digital audio players and recorders which use integrated circuits as recording media; audio tape players and recorders; audio disc players and recorders; hard disc audio players and recorders; car audio systems”.
Mork wonders if there will actually be a digital audio player called the Sony Zappin, or if Sony is going to use Zappin as a one-word slogan (meaning cool, super or rad) in support of said audio player. Either is possible.
While we all wait to find out, Mork’s going to do some of his own zappin.
