Yahoo! is seeking broad protection for the trademark Yahoo! Me2U. The September 17, 2007 filing covers a variety of goods and services which suggest a pervasive and compelling new service. The most interesting however are: “computer software containing interactive entertainment product, which allows users to customize the viewing, listening, and playing experience by selecting and arranging the display and performance of audio, video, and audiovisual elements by users in the fields of music, electronic games, video and the entertainment industry” and “mobile media services in the nature of electronic transmission of entertainment media content”. Mork is interested to see what this service is all about. He thinks Yahoo! should have named it Mork2U. But that’s just him.
