On February 1, 2008, online loan marketplace LendingTree filed to protect the trademark TuitionTree in relation to “providing student loan information; student loan services; credit and loan services; electronic loan origination services”.
Mork suspects that TuitionTree will be the rebranding of LendingTree’s Student Loan Center and/or their Student Loan Smart Borrower Center.
While the TuitionTree.com domain is currently inactive and the owner’s information private, Mork suspects we’ll be seeing a brand spanking new brand arriving soon at this address.
When banks compete, you win…the opportunity to pay off those loans for your high-priced education for years and years to come!
