MSNBC Cable has filed to protect the trademark peacockpeeks.com. The September 25, 2007 filing states the name will be used in relation to a “downloadable software program for enabling users to receive video news alerts from news producers on their home computer via a stand-alone pop-up screen application”. There is nothing currently at peacockpeeks.com. But the peacock.com domain was registered on September 5, 2007 by General Electric Company, the owner of MSNBC.
