On November 5, 2007, Coca-Cola rival PepsiCo filed to protect the trademark Mountain Dew Voltage in relation to a soft drink. In addition, they also filed to protect the names Mountain Dew Resurgence, Mountain Dew Brain Storm and Mountain Dew Collaboration.
These names are in addition to Mountain Dew Force Field, Mountain Dew Warrior, and a bunch of other names PepsiCo has recently registered.
Mork thinks some of these names are a little weird. Maybe PepsiCo should have a contest to name the next Mountain Dew soda. Yeah, like that’ll happen.
