On August 18, 2007, Activision, publisher of the video game Guitar Hero, filed to protect the trademarks Rocktober and Legends of Rocktober, in relation to a video game. With Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock scheduled for release on October 28, 2007, Mork can’t help think there’s some relation. Or maybe Activision has teamed up to develop a baseball video game with the Colorado Rockies, who have recently made news by filing on October 4, 2007 for exclusive rights to the name Rocktober for a wide variety of goods and services.
Mork can’t quite picture Slash rounding third trying to steal home. But stranger things have happened.
