On October 16, 2007 an individual named Pat Cortese from Niagara Falls, Canada filed to protect the trademark Identabeer in relation to “self-identifying labels for use on canned or bottled beverages”.
Mork is speechless. This idea has been right in front of all of our noses all this time. Its the perfect product, with the perfect name. One that will fill a need that we all have. How many times have you opened a beer and then set it down briefly as you showed some hot babe a pic of your Scion, or high-fived your buddy as he came through the door…and then turned around and had to pick your beer out from a nasty collection of half-drunk or empty cans or bottles? Well, that’s the last fucking time that’s gonna happen, once Identabeer ID labels are here!
This is an idea whose time has come. If you’ve had enough of this crazy bullshit and want to bring a little sanity to the madness with this brilliant social beer identification solution, you need to email Pat right now at pbcortese@msn.com and give him (or her) a little love and encouragement, so that this thing comes to market as soon as possible.
