On October 26, 2007, travel website Expedia filed to protect the trademark Expedia On The Go in relation to “providing notifications to travelers and others concerning itineraries, flights, weather, accommodations, destinations, and events via telephone, computer and electronic communications networks”. The name will also be used in relation to “making reservations for transportation and travel” as well as “temporary accommodations and dining reservations via telephone, computer and electronic communications networks”.
Expedia has also registered the domain expediaonthego.com which currently links to Expedia’s Corporate Travel Website.
