On December 12, 2007, Dale Earnhardt’s entertainment company Hammerhead Entertainment filed to protect the trademark Dale Jr Shifting Gears in relation to a TV show and DVDs, as well as apparel, printed materials and other items.
Dale Jr. currently hosts Back In The Day a show that takes a step back in time to races in the 60’s and 70’s, and includes trivia and racing information.
Mork doesn’t have much more info on this right now. He also did not know that Earnhardt dated “Left-Eye” Lisa Lopes (the late member of the hip hop group TLC) before her death and made a tribute to her life by painting a line underneath the left “headlight” of his race car. Who knew?
