  On November 1, 2007, hardcore beverage producer PepsiCo filed to protect the trademark Mountain Dew Force Field in relation to a soft drink. But it doesn't stop there. PepsiCo also filed to protect the names Mountain Dew Colorfy and Mountain Dew Beta in relation to even more soft drinks. PepsiCo's on a roll, having recently filed to protect other names for potential Mountain Dew Flavors. Mork's having a type-2 freakout just thinking about all that high fructose corn syrup.

  On October 29, 2007, PepsiCo filed to protect the trademark Mountain Dew Warrior in relation to a soft drink. On the same date, PepsiCo also filed to protect the trademarks Mountain Dew Firestorm, Mountain Dew Hi-Res and Mountain Dew All-4-1. At present, there's nothing that suggests these names are or will be related to each other in any way, or what their flavors will be.   Pepsi Raw

  On Ocotber 23, 2007, sugar-water manufacturer PepsiCo, Inc. filed to protect the trademark Pepsi Raw in relation to a soft drink. A March 2007 filing with the UK Intellectual Property Office features a similar filing which features a Pepsi Raw logo. Pepsi Raw is one of the names floating around the internet referring to possible variations of existing brands of sodas that will contain pure cane sugar, as opposed to high fructose corn syrup.   On October 16, 2007 an individual named Pat Cortese from Niagara Falls, Canada filed to protect the trademark Identabeer in relation to "self-identifying labels for use on canned or bottled beverages".   On October 19, 2007, singer, actor, director and screenwriter Billy Bob Thornton filed to protect the trademark Billy Bob as well as the initials BBT in relation to restaurant and bar services. There are a couple of registrations involving restaurants using a form of the Billy Bob name, but they've been abandoned. Mork doesn't reckon they'll be serving Bad Santa Burgers or Sling Blade Sausages at the ol' BBT. But maybe they'll be projecting Chopper Chicks in Zombietown on the wall over the pool table.   On October 3, 2007, a woman named Margaret Mitsock from North Carolina filed to protect the trademark Phil A. Minyawn in relation to a steak seasoning product. Mork thinks that Phil's middle name must be Awesome, as that is one clever name! You'd better hire a lawyer Margaret. There are going to be a lot of people who have a beef with your product!   On October 2, 2007, an individual named Annemarie Dockendorf from Florida filed to protect the trademark CrappyFudge in relation to, surprise...fudge. Mork thinks that this name is wrong on so many levels. Do you really want to have the word "crappy" associated with your product, especially since fudge is brown and solid and often looks like...well, you know. Anyway, unless Annemarie can single-handedly pull off a "bad" really means "good" kind of thing, and convince the world that ""crappy" really means "amazing", she's going to have more CrappyFudge on her hands than she can give away!   Toaster Doughnuts

  Finally! Doughnuts that you toast! They're already deep-fried, but no matter. They're not hot and toasty until you toast them! Thanks to Grandpa Don's Bread in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Toaster Doughnuts hopefully will be coming soon to a store near you. The September 4, 2007 filing and a Google search give us no hints as to what flavors Grandpa Don will toast up, or where we'll be able to get them. All Mork knows is that after heating up a glazed toaster doughnut, he's not going to want to clean the toaster.
