On October 16, 2007, video game developer Sega Corporation filed to protect the trademark Brain Assist in relation to a video game. Sounds like Sega is jumping on the “brain games” bandwagon lead by Nintendo’s Brain Age.
Or are they driving the wagon? Sega started this whole thing in 2005 with Brain Trainer Portable for the PSP. Released only in Japan, Sega’s a little late to the US party. Better late than never.
Update: Sega announces Brain Assist on November, 8, 2007…more than 2 weeks after Mork broke the story!
