On October 25, 2007, video game developer Ubisoft filed to protect the trademark Bloodlust in relation to video game software and an on-line computer game, as well as “entertainment services in the nature of production of television programs”.
The name Bloodlust has been used for a variety of things, including a couple of B-movies, a French role playing game and a minor Marvel Comics villain. But none of these suggest any connection to Ubisoft’s use of the name. Unless Ubisoft is making the game version of the 1961 thriller Bloodlust! starring Robert Reed. Which would be simultaneously weird and gay.
